NEWBIE ALERT!! These sweet boys were found abandoned behind a school. They are barely 6 weeks old and were full of fleas and parasites. They have started their vetting and have gotten settled into their foster home. We believe they are American Bully mixes and that they will be medium to large sized adults. They are friendly and loving pups despite what they have been through. They will be ready in a few short weeks once they can get their second round of vaccines and they are altered. We are taking applications now and will be reserving them to the perfect forever homes.  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs. We have researched and discussed in depth with multiple vets everything on pediatric spay and neuter and from a rescue stand point it must be done. Please do not ask for an extension on spay and neutering, it will NOT be granted on a healthy puppy!  Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Adoption Process
Our fee is $175 to cover vetting. Our dogs are adopted with age appropriate vaccinations, decals, dewormer, exams, heartworm test, spay/neuter, preventions and treated for any illness or injury.
