UPDATE!! A stray momma dog wandered up into a Good Samaritans yard and blessed them with a litter of pups. They have decided to keep momma and we are having her spayed but these 5 cuties are needing homes. Mom appears to be a black lab. Maybe a mix. Dad is unknown but the pups appear to be more lab than anything. They are 10 weeks old and around 10 lbs. They are playful and sweet babies. They are good with all animals and people. They are utd, altered and ready for forever families!  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs. We have researched and discussed in depth with multiple vets everything on pediatric spay and neuter and from a rescue stand point it must be done. Please do not ask for an extension on spay and neutering, it will NOT be granted on a healthy puppy!  Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Adoption Process
Our fee is $175 to cover vetting. Our dogs are adopted with age appropriate vaccinations, decals, dewormer, exams, heartworm test, spay/neuter, preventions and treated for any illness or injury.
