Francis aka Frank is ready to find his forever. Before his handsome good looks memorize you he will have a few requirements. 1) A fenced in yard is an absolute MUST. No apartment living for this big guy. 2) Potential adopter must own their own home. Due to Frank's size we cannot risk someone who is renting having to move and not be able to find another place that will accept him. He is going to be a big boy, we estimate about 150-200 pounds. 3) Large breed dog experience is preferred. Francis is a 6 month old Purebred St. Bernard. Francis came into the rescue after being purchased by people who had no idea how to handle a large dog and he wasn’t being taken care of properly. Although he’s just a puppy he is already 90 lbs! With some TLC and vetting from our rescue he has learned manners, gained weight and all of his skin issues have been resolved. Frank walks well on a leash, is kennel trained and potty trained and loves other dogs and cats. He is a big goofy guy who loves everyone he has met even children. With his large size a home with a large fenced in yard is required and a home with older children is recommended so he doesn’t accidentally hurt a little one when he gets excited. Francis would love a home that will never neglect him again and also understands the financial costs it takes to raise a giant breed of dog. He loves to splash in water and to run in the yard, he likes to lounge on the couch inside, play with other dogs and his favorite thing in the world besides food are balls. This goofball has plenty of years of love, loyalty and laughs to give his new people ❤️ Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful animals, we ask that you please fill out our online application: https://form.jotform.com/223268341300041 We are a 100% volunteer organization and have to work other jobs to pay the bills. Please give us up to 48 hours to respond. Submission of an adoption application does not obligate you to adopt nor does it guarantee approval. We look forward to hearing from you. We are located in Pensacola, Fl. Local applications considered first, but will consider out of state applications if transport can be arranged.
Adoption Process
Completion of adoption application followed by online and telephone screening. Home visit and signing of a contract which states animals will be a indoor family pet.
