Meet Echo

Hi, I'm Echo!! I'm a strikingly handsome guy, about 6 years old and truth be told I do have a bit of a silly side with my close friends. I'm even game for a bit of a pool party on a hot summer day! I've been here at the Ark for few years now because you see I do have a few peculiarities that make it a bit challenging to find the perfect home for me. I have boundaries so I tend to guard things and I take a while to get to know and trust new people. Even though I can be a bit of a handful, I'm not mean natured and just love a good head scratch and belly rub from my friends! The perfect home for me would be one that I could have it all to myself and my adult people, no kids or cats please! As much as I do love the Ark and how great they care for me, I really do want to have a home of my own. I just need a family that is experienced with special dogs like me and I promise I'll work hard to prove just how fabulous I am!! When I arrived at the Ark, we played the 'guess what breed I am' game, the most guesses were that I'm a Husky / Catahoula mix, but I know that's just a guess - I know what I am, I'm a Purebred Mix-Breed!! Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.

Adoption Process
Successful meet & greet, fenced yard, adoption contract, 2 week trial adoption period, adoption fee = $150 per pet
