Meet Peter

Peter is a happy, stocky and sweet guy. He seems to always be so happy and is really such a good boy! Peter has done great with meeting new people. Though he was a little shy when we first met him here at the shelter, he has shown us his bubbly personality! Peter loves to be praised and be scratched. It makes him so so happy! Since Peter arrived to us as a stray much of his background is unknown. Peter does appear to be potty trained and may also be crate trained. When in his kennel he is content and always sits so pretty for a treat. He also walks well on a leash and knows the cue “sit”. Peter was brought to the shelter with his friend Gwen, who we believe may be his sister! Peter has not been reactive towards other dogs in the shelter and has a friendly demeanor when seeing the other dogs. We can provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting if needed! Peter loves to have fun and appreciates quality time with his people. He will be his happiest self in a home that is able to provide him with attention and plenty of playtime! Peter is such a friendly dude. We have really enjoyed getting to know him better and anticipate him making a great addition to most homes!
