Boots (A088047) is a 13-year-old beagle who weighed nearly 30 lbs at intake but is quite overweight!02/08/25 Mister Boots finds himself at the shelter because his most recent owner is about to PCS and could not bring him along. Boots was said to be housebroken and friendly with huamns of all ages, other dogs and even cats! He was said to ride well in the car and to generally mind well, but he will get into the trash if given the opportunity! Boots knows some basic commands, such as sit, come, and go. During his stay at the shelter, Boots received a full medical workup with our veterinarian. Courtesy of the shelter fund he was sent out for a full workup. He will need his bloodwork rechecked in a month (around 3/19/25) this will be covered by the shelter fund. Boots was started on thyroid medication but the vet cleared him for adoption. He also had a dental cleaning! Now he is eager to find his retirement home. If you are interested in meeting Boots, please give us a call!
