Luvie (A137471) is a 10-year-old pointer mix who weighed nearly 60 lbs at inake!02/22/25 This sweet older gal is Luvie! Luvie arrived at the shelter after her owner's health declined and they were not able to provide her with the level of care she needs. Luvie can be quite strong on the leash. She is hoping to find another home without any other dogs. Luvie was said to do well with other dogs when out on a walk or when she was waiting at the vet, but she does not like to share her home with them. Luvie has never been around other animals, so please use caution if you have cats or other critters in your home and are looking to adopt Luvie. Luvie was said to be housebroken and was described as being friendly and affectionate. She is used to roaming a fenced in yard when outside. Luvie arrived at the shelter with a broken tooth, so she was sent out for a dental, courtesy of our amazing Shelter Fund! If you are interested in meeting Luvie, please give us a call!
