Meet HANS

Hans (A138105) 5-year-old Shar Pei/Lab mix that weighed 40lbs on intake!04/16/25 This handsome doggo is Hans! Hans was surrendered to the shelter after his previous owner passed away and the family were unable to keep him. Hans was said to be kennel trained and housebroken (whines at the door) and rides well in the car. He was also said to do well with children of all ages and does well meeting new people. He does well with most dogs but can be a bit excited, which may not be appreciated by all dogs he meets. He can also get excited with cats as well. Please be performing those introductions in a slow, safe and controlled manner in his new home. Hans has been known mark in his previous home, so he would definitely benefit from a refresher course on house training. He has also been freshly neutered which may help deter that habit. He was also said to be a fence jumper so his new family will have to ensure he is safely contained when he is outside. If you are interested in meeting with Hans, please let us know!
