Meet LEVI

Levi (A138063) is a 4-year-old GSD mix who weighed 77.4 pounds on intake! 04/15/25 Levi and Mimi were adopted briefly but returned the next day due to having accidents in the home. These two pups have gone through a lot of changes in a short amount of time and really need someone who can be patient and understanding of that. Keeping them on regular potty shedules will add routine and a predictable schedule that they can quickly adapt to. However, this is not something that happens overnight. They were both said to be very well housebroken by their original owner. Other than the potty accidents that the previous owner who had them for less than a day had experienced, they were otherwise said to be very well behaved. They were surrendered to the shelter because their owner was moving overseas and not able to bring them with. These two were stated to be best buddies, and we would love to find a home together! If you are looking for a pair, please consider these two couch potatoes! Both Levi and Mimi were stated to be kennel trained, housebroken, and to ride well in vehicles. They also know a variety of commands like come, sit, and stay. Both Levi and Mimi were described as shy but friendly dogs and were stated to do well with children, but Mimi is especially fond of having kiddos around. Mimi was described as a sensitive dog who enjoys having Levi around for companionship. Both were stated to be shy towards other dogs, but once introductions are made, they enjoy playing. They have no experience with cats, pocket pets, or livestock. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with any and all new animals. Both Mimi and Levi would benefit from attending a basic obedience to continue working on their manners, as they both were known to jump up on people and to be diggers when outdoors.
