Teddy (A135788) is a 1-year-7-month-old lab mix who weighed over 40 lbs at intake!04/12/25 Mister Teddy, formerly known as Armageddon, was brought back to the shelter with his buddy Cora due to no fault of their own. Teddy was described as being quite the little character! He can be stubborn and aloof but also eager to be included. He was said to get along with humans of ages, and he likes to play with cats. He can be rough when playing with cats, so please keep this in mind, as most kitties would not appreciate this play style. Teddy was said to be okay around other dogs, but he likes to talk big talk when safe behind a fence or other barrier. He will whine by the door to indicate he needs to go outside to potty. He has been known to be vocal, and he knows quite a few basic commands (it's just whether he feels like performing for you)! If you are interested in meeting this small-ish dog with a big personality, please give us a call!09/06/24 This pint-sized dude is Armageddon! While Armageddon is said to be a lab mix, he is actually quite small and falls more in the range of a medium-sized dog. Armageddon arrived at the shelter after his previous owner realized they could not provide the quality of care that he needs. Army (as he has been affectionately known at the shelter) arrived in poor condition and underweight. He has now been seen by our shelter veterinarian and been given a clean bill of health! Army may need some reminders on being a good pet dog. He was not said to be housebroken but was said to be kennel trained. He was said to ride well in the car, but he can be vocal at times and likes to chew. Providing him with lots of mental enrichment and appropriate chew toys would be a great place to start when addressing these issues. Enrolling him in a basic obedience class with a certified trainer can also help him reach max pet dog potential! Army also tends to jump on people and counters, and he has been known to jump fences. Make sure he is on a secure tie out when outside. Army does know some basic commmands, such as sit and kennel. He was described as being shy but friendly and he is usually gentle when playing but can sometimes be rough. If you are interested in meeting this little man, please give the shelter a call!
