Meet AAYLA

Aayla (A131583) 1-year and 11-month old Pitbull/Husky mix that weighed 58lbs at intake!04/16/25 This sweet girl is Aayla who was surrendered back to the shelter due to her previous owner having to move. Aayla was very much loved in her previous home, and she absolutely craves attention! She was said to be kennel trained, housebroken (kept on a schedule) and she rides well in the car. She knows quite a few tricks such as `paw` and `rollover`. She can be a bit shy with strangers at first, but she warms up quickly. She was said to be friendly with dogs but has no experience with cats or children so please take those introductions slowly. Aayla is still working on her manners in the house and sometimes she will chew on things or jump up on the counter. Aayla also has sensitive skin and would do best on a limited ingredient or novel protein diet. This sweet pup has so much love to give! She would enjoy going on lots of adventures with her family. We are so thankful for our amazing foster who took them in! Now that they are old enough, they are all looking for their new homes! Just a friendly reminder that puppies are a lot of work and a large commitment. They are going to need continued help with potty training, kennel training, positive socialization and so much more! These little ones are also going to continue growing into young energetic dogs so please make sure that your lifestyle will allow you to continue caring for them as they age! She is outgoing and fearless and keeps her puppy siblings in check. She likes to be in the middle of all the action and does not like missing out on anything. All while still being independent and adventuring alone!
