Dingo was recently returned because he was too rough with the cat in the home. From what we know, Dingo did not injure the cat but for everyone's safety Dingo should not be adopted into a home with cats or other small animals. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to learn much about Dingo's behavior in his most recent home. Dingo has a friendly demeanor when seeing the other dogs and has not been reactive. He is young and active and would do best with a tolerable friend! We can always provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting if needed. Dingo will thrive best in a home that is able to provide a positive outlet for his energy. He enjoys keeping his brain active as well so regular stimulation and enrichment would be beneficial for him! Dingo has been on some Miles for Mutts outings and done great. He has enjoyed car rides and is always excited to go on an adventure! Dingo has shown signs of stress and anxiety in the shelter, but we anticipate him feeling more relaxed with having an outlet for his energy. Dingo does appear to be potty trained and knows the cues âsitâ and âdownâ. Overall, he walks well on a leash but may pull initially out of excitement! It is unknown if Dingo is completely crate trained but he could benefit from continuing crate training. Dingo's ideal owner would be active and have the ability to continue training. We have loved getting to know Dingo better and it has been bittersweet watching him grow up. If you believe that your home would be a good for Dingo, we would love for you to meet him. Please keep in mind that he will need time to adapt to his new home and learn your routine!
