Meet Joy

Joy is a 5 month lab mix from Bethel, currently 41 pounds, estimated weight when full grown between 50-60 pounds She has been taught how to ring a bell to go outside.  ( yes sometimes she just wants to sit on my porch and hang out or throw the rope around all by herself or with her foster siblings). She knows sit.  She can be out of the kennel all day while I’m at work.  She’s sleeps in kennel at night, all night long.  We recently have been trying to see how she does sleep outside the kennel at night and she’s working on it.  She has been around dogs all sizes.  We have a cat and she’s is interested in her but knows they are not for her.  She is open fed (I have a community food dish that all dogs eat from) and shows no aggression at all if others are eating with her.  She’s food motivated.  She loves socks!  She would love to carry one or 6 in her mouth around the house.  lol   She is still nervous when meeting new people but after 5 minutes she warms up to you.  She loves people.  She’s a gentle soul just misunderstood and needs some reassurance that it’s not a big scary world and she can do it! Adoption Process
Adoption Application and Adoption contract. Adoption fee depends on age and size of dog. Requirements for adoption vary depending on the animal.
