Meet Bella the Dane

Meet Bella, our sweet, gentle giant in search of her forever home! This beautiful Great Dane came to us from a difficult situation, severely underweight and left chained outside after having puppies. At just 78 lbs, she was a shadow of the dog she was meant to be. Now, after some love and care, Bella is thriving at a healthier 100 lbs (and counting) and ready to share her love with a family who can give her the life she deserves. Bella is the perfect combination of playful puppy and calm companion. Despite her size, she’s a big softie who loves nothing more than snuggling up on the couch for pets and attention. She’s a bit clumsy with her long legs, but that only makes her more endearing. Bella is food-motivated, and she knows basic commands like sit, stay, and lay down. She could benefit from a little more leash training, as she tends to pull when excited to meet new people. She’s fully house trained and incredibly chill indoors, often just lounging on the couch, waiting for her humans to come home. Bella has been great with everyone she’s met, and while she's easy-going, her new family should be prepared for everything that comes with having a giant breed—plenty of food, space, and the love and care only a large dog like Bella requires.
