This sweet and chunky girl arrived to the shelter as a stray and we are so surprised that no one came looking for her! She is incredibly sweet and has a submissive personality. Solstice loves to be told how good of a good she is and wants nothing more than to make her people happy. Solstice has been a pretty mellow girl who enjoys cuddles and nice, slow walks! She has not been super into toys but we're sure her new family will be able to find a toy that she loves. We do not know if Solstice has lived with other animals or children. She has been friendly towards other dogs in the shelter and always gives a little tail wag when seeing them! Since she does have an easy going and gentle personality, we anticipate her doing well in most home settings! Remember, all introductions to new animals should be taken slowly. Solstice was with her finders for about two weeks before being brought to the shelter and they stated that she was a very good girl! She appears to be potty trained and knows the cue `sit`. She does walk well on a leash but can be a little nervous around new surrounding and may need some encouragement! Please keep in mind that Solstice will need time to adapt to her new home. One things for sure, Solstice is the sweetest! If you feel that your home would be a good fit for Solstice, we encourage you to come by and meet her!
