Meet Snowball

Snowball arrived to the shelter as a stray and unfortunately, we did not have any luck with getting in touch with his owners. Snowball is a very social dude who has done great with meeting new people! He doesn't seem to have a shy bone in his body. He can be a medium energy boy and will be happiest with regular walks and exercise! Plus, he does need to shed a few pounds, and regular walks could definitely benefit his overall health. He is on metabolic food but doesn't seem to know the difference. Food is food to him! Snowball does know the cue “sit” but can be rather impatient when he knows you have a treat. He can be talkative and may talk back when asked to perform for treats! Snowball does appear to be potty trained and walks well on a leash. Please keep in mind that he will need time to adapt to his new home! We do not know if Snowball has lived with other animals or children. Overall, he has been friendly towards other dogs but can become annoyed with uber rambunctious or barky dogs. He appreciates his space being respected! We can always provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting if needed. Snowball has a fun and spunky personality. We imagine him enjoying all things the great outdoors has to offer.
