Meet TEXAS, HOUSTON; "SOPHIE"
HOUSTON TEXAS THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING ~ OWNER DIED 7.5 Y/O DEAF FEMALE ANATOLIAN SHEPHERD/MIX EMAIL [email protected] Meet Sophie. She is a beautiful 7.5 year old spayed female Anatolian Shepherd or mix. Sophie's owner passed away unexpectedly and she is in need of either a foster or adoptive home ASAP. Sophie is deaf. Her owner adopted her in 2017 from a local shelter. Sophie came into the shelter with a male (dog) companion but she would be okay as the only dog as well. We dont know how she is with cats or female dogs. Given her hearing impairment we prefer that she goes to a home without small children. Sophie is housebroken and leash trained. She is a friendly, loving girl who enjoys attention and loves to be loved on. She has wonderful house manners, does not have containment issues and is not a big barker. Transport assistance may be available within 1000 miles depending on where you live and the availability of volunteer drivers along the route. This is a courtesy listing. This dog is currently adoptable but is not a part of or associated with National Anatolian Shepherd Rescue Network (NASRN), including NASRN’s adoption and/or fostering programs. The information listed for each animal was provided by individual caregivers and was not generated or verified by NASRN. NASRN makes no representations related to these animals . As with all adoptions, NASRN encourages potential adopters to gain as much information as possible before adopting these animals , including but not limited to temperament testing, consultation with a trainer, and consultation with a veterinarian.
