Tucson Cold Wet Noses

Cold Wet Noses is a small group of individuals who take in the dogs that are going to be euthanized on any given day. We do this, when we can (when we have room for them), from Pima Animal Care Center (PACC).(we apologize we can only take in animals from the county shelter off of there rescue list) We bear all of the cost for spaying or neutering, micro-chipping, health care and shots . We're just a bunch of dog lovers who are trying to help as many furry souls as we can. The animals live with us so we know their personally and what would be the best fit for them. All of our Dogs and Cats our part of our family and we want that for them at your home. WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT DOGS TO HOMES THAT WANT TO KEEP THEM OUTSIDE ALL THE TIME THEY ARE NOT YARD DOGS. We love each and every foster and we want you to do so so as well. If they arent a good match in your home we insist that they come back to us until their perfect match is found. We truly believe that there is a perfect pet for a perfect home! Thank you for adopting a shelter dog or cat from Tucson Cold Wet Noses.

Meet Krita

Who needs themselves an adorable pint sized companion?   Krita is a 2 yr old, 10 lb mixed breed. Leash, crate, and doggy door trained, dog and CAT social. She can absolutely hang with the big dogs, and even prefers them. Krita had some stranger danger, but bonds with and trusts her primary humans a great deal. Good little watch dog, and quiets when her person says it's okay. Great for grooming and nail trims. She'd be best in an adult only home with another dog companion or two. She'd be successful with respectful, older children, too. She is food motivated, playful, and I have no doubt her confidence will soar with continued training. Sassy, silly, and sweet!   A crate, bed, a bag of high quality food, and a nice harness/collar/leash has been sponsored for her adoption, as well as continued behavior support for 3 months post adoption with Rachel Molyneux at Sol Dog Lodge & Training Center.   Krita is up to date on vaccines and spayed. Her adoption fee is $275, with an aditional $21 for PACC licensing.   She is available for adoption in homes in Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, Catalina and Sahuarita only.
