Tucson Cold Wet Noses

Cold Wet Noses is a small group of individuals who take in the dogs that are going to be euthanized on any given day. We do this, when we can (when we have room for them), from Pima Animal Care Center (PACC).(we apologize we can only take in animals from the county shelter off of there rescue list) We bear all of the cost for spaying or neutering, micro-chipping, health care and shots . We're just a bunch of dog lovers who are trying to help as many furry souls as we can. The animals live with us so we know their personally and what would be the best fit for them. All of our Dogs and Cats our part of our family and we want that for them at your home. WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT DOGS TO HOMES THAT WANT TO KEEP THEM OUTSIDE ALL THE TIME THEY ARE NOT YARD DOGS. We love each and every foster and we want you to do so so as well. If they arent a good match in your home we insist that they come back to us until their perfect match is found. We truly believe that there is a perfect pet for a perfect home! Thank you for adopting a shelter dog or cat from Tucson Cold Wet Noses.

Meet Vinny

Hi! I'm Vinny and I am an approximately 10 year old Chihuahua mix. I am tiny but mighty, weighing in at 7lbs. I seem to have found myself in need of a home as my Dad had to give me up so he could move with family to better take care of himself. I have spent majority of my little life with my Dad and another Chihuahua but now I'm being cared for by a human lady, and 2 kiddo,s that I really enjoy and their doggos and cats. They are older kiddos and gentle with me which I need at my age. I spend my time with the other small dogs in the home. The big dogs can be a little intimidating for me. I am kennel trained but prefer to spend my free time in my bed by the couch. My foster mom leaves the TV on for me when she's away during the day. We are on Season 9 of Grey's Anatomy! I have a low heart murmur with no symptoms, so I'm not on any medications, but will need biyearly check ups in case that changes. I also have a birth defect called luxating patellas on my back knees that don't bother me too much but I will sometimes limp a bit or hold up my back paw so I can go faster! My foster mom gives me Cosequin everyday to help my joints. I had my teeth cleaned and the yucky ones taken out so I'm feeling good and ready to find that perfect lap to spend my time on!!  Vinny is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. He is adoptable to homes in Tucson, Marana, Sahuarita, Oro Valley and Catalina only. His adoption fee is $275, with an additional $21 for PACC licensing. Please fill out an adoption application here http://tucsoncoldwetnoses.com/adoptable-pets/adoption-application/ to meet Vinny or email [email protected] with any questions
