Underdog Rescue of Arizona, LLC

We are a group of volunteers who have individually worked with many other rescues prior to starting Underdog Rescue. We are an all breed rescue, and have a soft spot for bully breeds, medical cases and fear cases. We pull primarily from the County Shelter's daily Euthanasia list and place animals in our approved foster homes. We then network these homeless pets in order to rehome them into loving families. We require all adoption applicants to fill our our adoption application, receive a home visit, pay our adoption/rehoming fee and sign our legal adoption contract. All animals are fully vaccinated and altered prior to adoption being finalized. We do a standard 2 week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period, in which the applicant has the opportunity to be sure the animal is a good fit for their home/family.

Different policies and fees may apply. MEET BRUNO 8!! Bruno is just a little guy who has had a rough start at life. He was thrown out of a car at 51st Ave and Cactus where he was saved. It was obvious he had been wearing a collar at one point, but he didn't have one at the time. Not chipped.  Fortunately, Bruno found a wonderful family to nurture him, get him neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is all puppy and will need some training. However, he is already leash trained, crate trained, loves car rides and toys, and is just an overall love bug. His current family states that Bruno shows signs of abuse, so he will need a calm and safe environment. He shies away from feet and is timid when you raise your voice.
