Are you looking for a smart, easy, ready-to-go rat terrier at the perfect middle age of 10 years-old? Lucy Lu is that girl! Here we have an all-around wonderful companion who loves to play with toys, go on walks, and keep you company no matter what you are doing. She also does great with cats and could live easily in a family of multiple dogs, or as an only pet! What a dream!  Ms. Lucy is enthusiastic about maintaining her habit of leash walking in order to keep her healthy and her past issue of her back right patella in shape. She loves to run around in the yard and say "ruff!" to the dogs walking by (or even a leaf blowing in the wind!). She is crate-trained and will hop into her crate on her own accord. Lucy is also house-trained and can be left loose at home without worry. Like many rat terriers, she can be a bit sensitive to being picked up and therefore should not live with young children. She is quick to learn and adapt and would take well to more training with positive reinforcement!
