RIVER is available! 24-059 River  is a frightened young stray that was taken under the wing of a Good Samaritan who could not keep her. The finder contacted us and we have been working with River to build her confidence. She was terrified of people when we first got her, but has made great strides in learning to trust. River needs someone who is loving and patient to help her continue to grow and thrive. We think she would do great with another well-adjusted dog to show her the way. Young children are not advised. A fence is mandatory. She is currently on an anti-anxiety medicine to help her adjust and it is working well. River is looking for a quiet, well-balanced home to call her own. All potential fosters and adopters must fill out an application, pay an application fee and have a home visit in order to be considered for any dog.  

Adoption Process
Adoption Application, Home Visit. Membership required before dog is place $30.00 Single, $45.00 Family. Dog adoption fees range from $500 for dog under 2 years old and goes down as low as $300 as dog for older dogs.
