12/10/24 Look at this boy!! Meet Harley. He just started at Paws in Prison yesterday. While there, he’ll work with inmates as well as a dog trainer to learn the basics, leash walking, etc. He’ll graduate in 8 weeks with his canine good citizen certificate and then he’ll be ready to go to his new home! Who is going to be the lucky family to adopt this handsome fella? Striped like a tiger, he is. That’s because Harley has a pretty brindle coat. The stripes are most prominent on his back. Harley is a handsome puppy with lots of little kid energy and a dose of showboat to go with it. He’s very smart and quick footed. Harley needs manners. His aren’t good, but he’s not to blame. Manners are hard to come by on the end of chain in a backyard. That’s where he’s spent his whole life, which is horrible. He appears to be a mountain cur mix, and a good looking one, at that. Maybe Catahoula mix? He’s 5 months old. Give the inmate trainers a few weeks with Harley and he’s going to be a great sidekick!!! Harley is good with other dogs. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.
