Meet Luna Moonpie

9/7/24 Still available.  7/24/24 Luna Moonpie is a tiny little Chihuahua/Pug mix who came into rescue after her mom went into hospice. She is nervous natured and needs a home with someone who will be very patient with her. Once she gets comfortable, she is extremely loving and sweet, but it takes a little time for her to trust. She is ok with other low key dogs that leave her alone, but does not enjoy being around rambunctious dogs that want her to play. However, she does like to play with toys with her human. She would love to be the only dog in the home, but could happily co-exist with another dog that has a similar personality. Luna is 3-4 years old and weighs less than 10 lbs. She would prefer a home with young kids. We would love to see her adopted locally in Arkansas so she can avoid the stress of transport, but willing to transport her for the right adopter. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.
