3/9/25 Have you ever wondered what a dachshund/pit bull cross would look like? A wiener-pit, if you will? Wonder no more! Introducing Molly. This weirdly adorable little girl was a shelter pull about a month ago. She is about the size of a pittie, but on short little dachshund legs. Molly loves to play with other dogs, but is easily intimidated by loud noises. She's a very sensitive girl, and gets her feelings hurt easily. We believe she was treated very harshly in the past, because she cowers at a raised voice and sudden movements. She would love a home that is peaceful, with a family who will treat her with nothing but love and kindness. Molly has struggled with house training in her current foster home. We believe it is because it is a bit loud (her amazing foster is a dog trainer and therefore has many other dogs in the home), and she has accidents in her crate because she gets nervous. We believe in a more quiet home, she would likely do better with this. Her ideal home would include another dog that is confident, but gentle. She does love to play with other dogs, but could easily be bullied by a pushy or dominant dog. Molly is very loving and sweet natured, and is very receptive to affection, she just has some emotional scars from the hard life she had prior to rescue. Who doesnt have some emotional baggage, amiright? She would do well with children who are on the calm, gentle side, and would be a fantastic dog for a kid to grow up with. Molly is a highly food motivated girl (me, too, Molly. Give me a cookie and see what i do!), making her easy to train. She is a young adult, probably 1-2 years old, and weighs about 40 lbs. She is fully vetted and ready to find her forever home. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available.
