Meet Suzy

Suzy is a "micro mini labradoodle" who comes to us as a "breeder sellout." Her mom was a mini poodle/lab (labradoodle) and dad was a toy poodle who weighs 5lbs. We took many dogs from this breeder to prevent them from going to a puppy mill, which is where they were headed if rescue had not intervened. Suzy has an outstanding personality and she loves everyone. She is very cuddly and loves to be snuggled. Her date of birth is 6/2022 and she currently weighs 5.8 lbs at 5 months old. Suzy is currently in a foster home with a 10 yr old little girl who she loves, as well as many other dogs and a couple of cats who think they are dogs. Suzy is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on prevention, spayed, and microchipped. She is using puppy pads but mostly goes potty outside. (its hard to housetrain with multiple untrained dogs in the home). She does well in a crate. Suzy's adoption fee is $1.000, and transport is $140. We realize these fees are more than most of our dogs. These dogs would cost far more if you purchased them from a breeder and they would not be fully vetted. We believe these fees are fair to all involved, and the fees will go towards helping maintain the longer term dogs that are in our rescue for sometimes years. No matter how long a dog is with us, we provide their food, monthly heartworm and flea/tick meds, and any other care they may need. None of this is free, we have to pay for everything just like anyone would have to. We appreciate your understanding and support.
