Ozark Homeward Bound

Ozark Homeward Bound is a non-profit organization created in June 2010 to address the abandoned and neglected dogs and cats in north central Arkansas. We do not have a shelter, but depend on foster volunteers to care for our dogs and cats while they await adoption. OHB will spay/neuter each cat or dog, give them all age-appropriate vaccinations and treat them for parasites before they leave for their fur-ever homes.We do require an adoption application with references to insure the best homes for our fur kids. Close attention is given to matching the needs of a pet to the adoptive family. Not all who apply are approved.Donations are always needed, and always appreciated. We also accept Honorarium and Memorial contributions.

Meet River

RIVER is a wonderful high energy poodle. He’s well behaved and calm inside the house but he’s a racehorse outside. He loves to run laps around the yard. He has a joker type personality, but he’s very sweet as well. He is currently located in Harrison Arkansas. The rescue network transports dogs to locations near where they are posted. I started a Facebook page for potential adopters to get to know the dogs and I will put a link below.
