Meet Buster

Here’s a sad one and we know he’s not going to be the most popular, but we are hopeful. His name is Buster. He was found as a stray in horrible condition and we think he’d been in rough shape for quite a long time. His eyes were infected as well as his skin. We’ve treated his eyes and skin, but unfortunately, we think we’ve done pretty much all we can for his skin. We believe he was in this shape as a stray for so long, that his skin is permanently damaged. Some of his hair should continue to grown in but he may never have a full coat. He LOVES kids and he’s good with cats! He’s a sweet boy. He’s good with other dogs. We believe he is about 4 years old. He’s about 25-30 pounds. He is still on some eye drops and his foster mom is still giving baths with medicated shampoo every other week. We will send shampoo with whoever adopts this special boy and eye drops if still needed. We hope someone will see beyond his lack of fur and want to spoil this guy for the rest of his life. He is heartworm negative, UTD on vaccines, neutered, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.
