NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 3/26/2025: Parma - female - 1 year old - 6.10 pounds - Jack Russell Terrier Reason for intake: This toot is full of a whole lotta spiciness in a tiny body! Parma came to us from animal control. She's FULL OF IT! As we were checking her in, she wanted down down down to be with the other dogs. We told her "no, no, no". LOL! We were told she was adopted and returned because she didn't get along with other dogs. When she comes back from the vet, we're going to see about that. She just needs a little training is all. We also believe she's in heat, so it very well may have something to do with that. She's heading to the vet the week of March 31, 2025, so stay tuned! NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption. We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link: https://www.facebook.com/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
Adoption Process
On-line adoption application required. If approved and at adoption we require adoption agreement, spay/neuter contract for puppies/kittens - adoption fees vary from $85 for felines and $150-$250 for dogs (varying depending on age, health, behavior, etc.) Adopters must have responsible dog-ownership history and stellar vet reference if applying to adopt a dog and vice versa for cats.
