Meet Tucker!-6 month old neutered male Collie (dad) and Blue Tick Coonhound (mom)-Surrendered to the Shelter after previous guardians could no longer care for-Has experience living with other dogs (large breed) and enjoys socializing-Has been observed to be social with staff and volunteers since arrival-Has almost perfected house training-Still working on life skills and manners such as leash walking. Adopters should plan to commit to positive reinforcement based training to help set Tucker up for successPlease note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
