This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, March 8th from 12-3pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered. Adoption Fee: $650 Meet The Strings – A Symphony of Adorable Chaos! Introducing The Strings, a lively band of 10-week-old Morkie (Maltese-Yorkie) puppies ready to play their way into your heart! Rescued from a shelter without their mom, these little rockstars are tuning up for their forever homes. While we can only guess their exact parentage, we do know one thing—they’re small, spirited, and full of love! Each day follows the same rhythm: wake up at 6:30 AM for breakfast, play like wild musicians at a jam session, nap around 10 AM, have lunch at noon, and then back to rehearsing (a.k.a. playing) until another nap from 4 to 6 PM. Dinner at 6, encore playtime, and finally, bedtime at 10 PM. And yes, they are all housetrained, crate-trained, and familiar with potty pads—a true masterpiece in puppy progress! Meet The Band: Ukulele – The Gentle BalladUkulele, weighing 6.6lbs, is the laid-back love song of the group. While his siblings are composing chaos, he's happy being the soft acoustic melody, cuddling up on your lap or snoozing on your foot. He’s playful, but don’t expect any wild solos—he’s usually the first one to fall asleep, possibly dreaming of belly rubs and lullabies. Banjo – The Sweet SerenadeBanjo, weighing 7.8lbs, will steal your heart with her big, soulful eyes and adorable eye contact. She loves a good belly rub and will nuzzle right up to you like a heartfelt country tune. She’s playful but also knows when to slow things down for some quality snuggles. Mandolin – The Indie SoloistMandolin, weighing 5.4lbs, is the independent artist of the bunch—happy to play with others but just as content entertaining herself. She’s always on the move, composing her own adventures, climbing playpens, and chasing toys like a whirlwind of musical energy. Making eye contact with her? Good luck—she’s too busy writing her next hit single (or, you know, chewing on a teething toy). Fiddle – The High-Energy EncoreFiddle, weighing 6.6lbs, is pure, unfiltered rock 'n' roll. She’s the first to escape the playpen (Mandolin learned her moves from her), the first to jump on the couch, and the last one to wind down. If she were a musician, she’d be the one crowd-surfing. She loves attention, hates being bored, and will make sure you know it! Living with Puppies – The Greatest Hit You'll Ever Raise Raising a puppy is like learning a new instrument—at first, it’s all noise, but with patience and practice, it turns into beautiful music! These little ones are teething (so expect some impromptu drum solos on your shoes), love to wrestle (puppy sumo matches happen daily), and are still mastering their training. They’re great with other dogs and will thrive in homes that continue their socialization, training, and, of course, endless love. So, are you ready to add some music to your life? Adoption Process
We require an application from anyone who is interested in adopting. Then we require a phone interview, followed by a meeting in person. Then if the animal is a match, we have a contract and our adoption fee which is $400.
