Adoption Fee: $750   Meet Enigma, a 2 year old Shih Tzu mix with a zest for life that’s simply contagious! This handsome boy came to our rescue from a good samaritan who rescued him and helped send him along to his next adventure. Enigma has a gorgeous non-shedding coat and knows that he makes the girls go crazy from the minute he walks into the room! Weighing in at 11 pounds, Enigma would be the perfect companion for someone ready to take on the world with a pocket sized pal! From the moment he wakes up, he’s ready to take on the world—starting with a sniff-filled morning walk where he takes in all the scents like a true explorer. His day is a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation, with playtime, training sessions, and plenty of snuggles in between. Enigma has transformed from a cautious newcomer to an incredibly confident and playful companion. He adores his foster parents and isn’t shy about showing it—whether it’s climbing into their laps for kisses, sneaking under their hands for extra pets, or playfully rolling around on blankets in his signature goofy style. While he’s independent and enjoys exploring, he’s also a total lovebug who gets jealous if another pup is getting the attention he thinks he deserves! This energetic boy loves to play and entertain himself, but he’s also great at matching the mood of his humans. Whether you're out on a walk, training with treats, or lounging on the couch, Enigma is happy to be by your side. He’s still working on his leash manners (those squirrels are just too tempting!), but he’s smart and eager to learn. Enigma gets along well with other dogs, coexisting peacefully with his foster sibling and behaving politely around dogs at patios. He has a strong personality and a curious nature, making him an exciting and engaging companion. He’s crate-trained, hasn’t had an accident since his first few days, and rarely barks. He’s a total dream for any home ready for the best buddy. The ideal home for Enigma is one that will embrace his playful spirit and strong personality while setting clear boundaries to help him thrive. He would love a family that enjoys adventure, gives him plenty of chances to explore, and doesn’t mind a pup who likes to be right in the middle of the action. Adoption Process
We require an application from anyone who is interested in adopting. Then we require a phone interview, followed by a meeting in person. Then if the animal is a match, we have a contract and our adoption fee which is $400.
