Meet Murphy, the âFrench staffieâ (simply a guess but he looks like a French bulldog mixed with a Staffordshire terrier). Murphy took a bit to warm up to people upon his arrival to the Shelter but is increasing his circle of friends day by day. At 36 pounds, he is a smaller guy but still has a lot of love to give to his next guardian. Could that be you? Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
