Dandelion is a very cute, 4-month old, female black and white Australian cattle dog mix who has been at the shelter since May 10. You can meet Dandelion or any of our other shelter dogs on Fridays or Saturdays from 11AM-3PM for walk-ins. You can also schedule an appointment ahead of time and on other days via our adoption inquiry form at friendsofycas.org/dogs All adoptable dogs are viewable at friendsofycas.org/dogs
Adoption Process
Adopters fill out a 2-page questionnaire, interview with a staff person, and pay the adoption fee. We are in the process of transitioning to "open adoptions" with few formalized requirements. The full adoption fees are approximately $160 for dogs and $110 for cats, but we have regular 'specials'.
