Sweet Dee arrived at the shelter with her buddy Dennis, and they're both looking for their forever homes. Sweet Dee is a gentle and loving dog who wants to make friends, but she's still learning to trust. She needs someone who will help her build her confidence and show her that the world is a safe place. Once she's comfortable with you, she's a playful and affectionate pup who loves to snuggle up and give kisses. This intelligent dog is eager to learn and picks up new commands quickly. With positive reinforcement and consistent training, she will thrive and become a loyal companion. She would do well with an experienced and patient owner who is willing to work with her. Adoption Process
Adopters fill out a 2-page questionnaire, interview with a staff person, and pay the adoption fee. We are in the process of transitioning to "open adoptions" with few formalized requirements. The full adoption fees are approximately $160 for dogs and $110 for cats, but we have regular 'specials'.
