Meet Luna (A200546)! This 8-month-old, 32lb husky mix is a beautiful bundle of energy and personality. Luna is a very expressive dog and loves to talk to her humans. She's always happy to see you and will make sure you know it with her playful barks and wagging tail. Luna is a high-energy dog who loves to run, play, and explore. She is very curious and loves to investigate her surroundings. She would do best with an active family who can take her on long walks, runs, or hikes. Luna is also very smart and eager to learn, which makes training a breeze. Luna is very friendly with people and loves to snuggle with her humans. Luna's ideal home would be one with a secure yard and a family who has experience with high-energy dogs. While she is friendly with children, her energy level might be too much for very young children. She would also do well in a home with another dog for play and companionship. Adoption Process
Adopters fill out a 2-page questionnaire, interview with a staff person, and pay the adoption fee. We are in the process of transitioning to "open adoptions" with few formalized requirements. The full adoption fees are approximately $160 for dogs and $110 for cats, but we have regular 'specials'.
