Meet Stella (A201054)! This gorgeous 2-year-old, 45lb husky mix is ready to find her forever home. Stella has striking brown eyes and a fluffy coat that's perfect for cuddling. Stella is a very playful and energetic girl, so she would do best with an active family who can take her on long walks or hikes. She loves to run and play, and would make an excellent running or hiking partner. However, she also loves to curl up next to her humans and snuggle. Stella's ideal home would be one with a secure yard and a family who has experience with high-energy dogs. While she is friendly with children, her energy level might be too much for very young children. She would also do well in a home with another dog for play and companionship. Adoption Process
Adopters fill out a 2-page questionnaire, interview with a staff person, and pay the adoption fee. We are in the process of transitioning to "open adoptions" with few formalized requirements. The full adoption fees are approximately $160 for dogs and $110 for cats, but we have regular 'specials'.
