Meet Boba

Meet Boba (A199816), the handsome and charming 1-year-old Siberian husky who is looking for his forever home. Boba is a medium-sized dog, weighing 52 pounds, and with his stunning blue eyes, he will capture your heart from the moment you meet him.Boba has a sweet and gentle personality that makes him a great companion. He loves spending time with his human friends, cuddling up on the couch, and going for long walks. He is very well-behaved on a leash, although he might get a little excited if he sees a squirrel or a bird, so be prepared for some playful antics.Boba is a very intelligent dog who is eager to learn and please his humans. Boba is an escape artist and can easily jump over a fence. Extra care will need to be taken to keep him busy and prevent boredom. Boba would benefit from the support of another dog in the household that could help alleviate his separation anxiety as well as provide a playmate, when his adopters are busy or away. He already knows some basic commands, and with some patience and positive reinforcement, he can learn many more.If you're looking for a cozy pup to curl up with, Boba might be the pawfect match for you! He loves nothing more than snuggling up next to his humans. You can meet Boba or any of our other shelter dogs on Fridays or Saturdays from 11AM-3PM for walk-ins. You can also schedule an appointment ahead of time and on other days via our adoption inquiry form at friendsofycas.org/dogs All adoptable dogs are viewable at friendsofycas.org/dogs

Adoption Process
Adopters fill out a 2-page questionnaire, interview with a staff person, and pay the adoption fee. We are in the process of transitioning to "open adoptions" with few formalized requirements. The full adoption fees are approximately $160 for dogs and $110 for cats, but we have regular 'specials'.
