Meet Frank

Hi Everyone!   Frank is an adorable male German Shepherd puppy. He’s all black and has the sweetest eyes and hilariously huge paws. Frank is going to be a very big boy! Thankfully, he has all the makings of a great family dog and a solid overall demeanor. At 2.5-3 months old, Frank has shown a willingness to listen to his handler and train/learn. He already walks calmly on a leash, which is very unique for such a young puppy. Frank is also great with other dogs.   Even though Frank spent the first few months of his life at a shelter, you wouldn’t know it when you meet him. He is personable and outgoing with men, women and other dogs. He gets really excited when the volunteers at the Rescue come to talk him on walks and is disappointed when it’s over. Frank was rescued from the shelter a day before he was to be euthanized, and he is one of those dogs who seems poised to make the most of his new chance at life. We are confident that you’ll have a friend for life with Frank. Come meet him and watch him grow into his (gigantic) paws in your home. Please visit http://www.coastalk9gsrsd.org/to learn more about our dogs. Click on available dogs to see further descriptions. If you are interested in me, please contact us  at  [email protected] or call (858) 779-9149. Don't forget to fill out our online application. The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers. We show our dogs at adoption events every weekend! Check our our website to see where we'll be next!
