Meet Motley, a male Australian Shepherd. Motley has been noted to be social, eager and jovial when out with staff in the exercise yards. He has met some dogs since his arrival and shows interest in interaction â full body wiggles when attempting to sniff. Motley may want to participate in some play with another dog in his next home but should do a meet and greet with any resident dogs prior to adoption. If you are a herding breed savvy person looking for a dog with a lot of potential â come meet Motley today to add to your crew!Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
