United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed below. Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue. Pet Information #A5549973 Pebbles is an affectionate 4 year old brown and cream spayed female English Bulldog who was found as a stray and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on April 27. Weighing 55 lbs, Pebbles is a couch potato who loves to hang out on someone’s lap and is ready to snooze. She’s good on leash and already knows sit, and she shows signs of housebreaking. Tolerant of other dogs, Pebbles is ok with other large ones. Her shelter notes say that Pebbles may have brachycephalic syndrome, a breathing condition that affects short nosed dogs like bulldogs and pugs, and while she seems happy and content, her family would be wise to be on the lookout for any difficulties. A stout girl with a curly tail and floppy ears, she’s ready to join you on social media or will be happy to spend most of her time on the couch.
