07/23/24 09:16Meet North! North is a sweet soul who’s calm, gentle, and loves all people. He’s a very affectionate, social love bug who will nudge and lean up against you for pets. And you’ll be happy to oblige! It’s impossible to resist his super soft coat. North has weakness in his back left leg from an old injury, but he still loves walks and even playgroups with gentle dogs. This boy would love to be your best friend and forever companion, enjoying neighborhood strolls and couch cuddles!04/15/24 13:06Reason animal needs rescue: Persistent lameness of left pelvic limb. Radiographs show history of FHO surgery, as well as suspected cruciate ligament rupture of LPL. P may need additional orthopedic surgery for best quality of life that is beyond shelter capacity at this time.UPDATE 8/26: At this time North is ambulating well on all 4 limbs with no lameness, however, cannot R/O that he may need surgical intervention in future.
