Meet Pooh Bear & Suzie

Pooh Bear - The Classic Collection Yellow Female, 7 years, 52 lbs. If you ask me if we "will be best friends forever, I will tell you longer."  You see, I am Pooh Bear, a chubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff, a willy, nilly silly old pup looking for my very own Christopher Robin and friends.   Someone to wander with in the hundred acre wood, think that might be you? "It's so much more friendly with two." I always say "You can't stay in your corner of the forest, waiting for people to come to you.  You have to go to them sometimes."  So I have the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno to assist me find my own perfect, new home.  You see, my old home washed out from under me with an injury to my old owner, and my friend Suzie Piglet and myself found ourselves on our own.  And "while we weren't lost, the place where we were at was lost."  So, with our second chance in hand, we are beginning a new adventure.  We are looking for a new home that will include you forever!  And "if you live to be a hundred, I would wish to live 100 minus 1, so I would never have to live a day without you in my life." Mellow yellow, a little golden gal, I am a perfect teddy bear ready to go with you everywhere.  House trained, with perfect pup manners, I have a few tricks as well.  And while I am rumbly in my tummy, and love to talk about lunch, please remember, all labs "grow tubby without appropriate exercise."  Little kids love Pooh Bear, I am so gentle and sweet. The horse at my foster home reminded me of my friend Eeyore, just another friend to greet.  Dogs and cats remind me my friends Rabbit and Owl, a stranger I have yet to meet. "Some people care too much.  I think it's called love "  I am ready then, to be your friend, your cuddly, snuggly, Pooh Bear.  If you let me, I will sit upon your lap. I know you will find me, "people say everyday, nothing is impossible - but I do nothing everyday!"  Where our journey will take us, I cannot say, but "the river knows this: there is no hurry.  We will get there someday"  It only takes a moment to adopt me, what are you waiting for?  And if your home and heart have the room, Suzie Piglet would love to come too. Pooh Bear and her sister Suzie are available for adoption through the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno.  A bonded pair that have spent their life together in the backyard, we would love to see them adopted together and live inside with their family. Adoption Application, home visit and pre-screening of potential homes. Adult dogs $250 (5 mos. to 8 years) Puppies $350 (4 mos. and under) Senior and Special needs $100 (8 years and up) $150 second dog (except puppies)
