Adoption Fee: $800   Link is a 2 year old Shih Tzu mix who can’t wait to unlock his forever home! Link was rescued from the shelter with his pal Zelda. They clearly aren’t related but came off the streets together after some adventures. We promised to give Link the very best forever home and busted him out of his kennel to start his fabulous forever after. Link weighs 9 pounds and has a non-shedding coat that will be an option for allergies. If you’re ready to find your new main character, come and meet Link today!     Link is an affectionate little gentleman who melts hearts wherever he goes. He adores his humans and wants nothing more than a life spent by your side. He is super affectionate, always showering those he loves with kisses. Link loves getting his belly rubbed and will roll over if he thinks you are going to give him some attention. Link would be an amazing companion for someone who works from home or who can bring a dog into the office, as he loves napping while you work the day away. Like most Shih Tzus, Link isn’t the most active guy in the world, but he does love exploring nature on his walks! He is happy to play with his toys but once he’s ready to nap he’s conked out on the softest surface he can find. Link does have a party trick which is dancing on his hind legs when he gets excited. It is absolutely adorable and makes him even more charming than his cute face already does!  Link wakes up at 7 AM and goes outside for a potty and sniff session before coming inside for breakfast. Once he finished eating, he settles down for a snooze. During the day, Link plays with his toys and sniffs around the backyard for adventures. He loves to keep an eye on his foster humans as they work from home and is a loyal companion. Link goes out for a walk around 5 PM and then comes home for some snuggles on the couch. He eats dinner at 6 PM and then settles down on the couch to watch TV. He goes into his crate for the night at 10 PM.  Link has previously lived with dogs and gets along very well with them. He can be a little shy when he first meets new people but once he’s comfortable he’s ready to show off how amazing he is. Link walks well on the leash. Link’s dream home is one ready to show him all the love they have. He is such a special pup who charms everyone he meets effortlessly and we know he will do the same with you!       Link is an option for any home, regardless of prior dog owning experience. Kids should be over the age of 7.

Adoption Process
We require an application from anyone who is interested in adopting. Then we require a phone interview, followed by a meeting in person. Then if the animal is a match, we have a contract and our adoption fee which is $400.
