Meet Robin
Robin IS AVAILALBE (updated 02-11-2025).To meet any of our dogs you must first complete our online adoption application on our website. For more information and the adoption application for Robin, please visit our website belowhttp://www.coastalgsr.org/dog_profile.php?ID=22812&name=RobinRobin was found wandering around a neighborhood in the Inland Empire during a heat wave. She eventually went into the shade under a tree and refused to move. The homeowner brought her in and took care of her. She tried to find Robin's owner and even posted flyers but no one claimed Robin.Robin was pregnant and gave birth to 9 puppies. Four of the puppies did not make it but 5 did. Coastal GSR found homes for the puppies and we are now looking for a forever home for Robin. Robin is approximately 1-2 years old. She is in a foster home with another dog and adults. She has been doing well but is still transitioning to living inside a home and learning a new routine. She is food motivated and eager to please. She walks well on a leash. Robin is very smart and picks up new commands quickly. She loves being near people. The foster family is still working with her to establish boundaries (no kitchen!) and get her comfortable with her surroundings.Robin would do well in a home with an active family and one that would like to take her with them. Another dog is not necessary. Robin has been spayed, microchipped, and has all of her vaccinations. She is ready to go and join your pack. The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
