Meet Dumpling: Wonton
Adoption fee: $700 The Dumplings are a quad of Aussie mix puppies who are 8 weeks old. They came to our rescue at the age of four weeks. They had been left at a shelter- no place for such tiny babies!- and spent the past month growing up in foster homes in pairs. Bao and Wonton are fostered together WonTon wakes at the crack of dawn along with her brother. They are early to rise and take on the day. She usually eats around 6am and then spends the rest of the day playing, sleeping, going to the bathroom and playing, sleeping, etc...She loves playing with her brother and if you can't find her, it means she has put on her "Dora The Explorer" hat and she's out there looking for new adventures. Never fear she is never lost. She is always somewhere in the house or in the yard. But she's discovering a whole new world...She usually gets a snack around lunchtime and then dinner is at 5pm and off to bed around 9pm or so. WonTon's foster mom says, "WonTon is a real explorer. She loves to be outside smelling everything and playing with her toys. She usually keeps her brother up trying to get him to play with her throughout the day. She has always been very loving and sweet. She isn't as much of a snuggler as her brother, but will fall sleep on the couch next to you." There are two older dogs in the home and the puppies get along very well with them. All four can often be found snuggled together on one big dog bed. Wonton is so cute with her interaction with the big dogs. She can be found climbing all over them, licking their faces and always wanting to be near them. She's a dog's dog. She also loves the 17 year old boy in the home The housetraining journey began with potty pads for Wonton and she's still learning to use them. She is learning to master going out back as the door is open all day. As long as it's open she goes out no problem. But when it's closed she just goes to the potty pad. She is not at the place to signal yet. Wonton is not a digger or a barker. She is teething like any good pup. WonTon is an option to join a home that has another dog and or cat or children. She's going to be a great addition to a home seeking a loving, sweet, exploration driven dog. The Dumpling puppies are only an option for a home that has owned a dog in the last 5 years. They are an option for kids over the age of 6.
