Meet Dreidel
Adoption fee: $650 Dreidel is a 1-2 year old Morkie who weighs a whopping 6.7 lbs. He was rescued from a hoarding situation along with 18 of his buddies. Dreidel does not have a traditional non-shedding coat but may be lighter shedding than some dogs. He has been fostered with Eggnog and loves having a doggy companion to hang out and play with. He would be a great option as a second dog in the home. Here's the report from his adoring foster family! We wake up at 5 am for work. Our day starts with Dreidel and Eggnog doing some yoga and stretching themselves out from the amazing cozy sleep they’ve had, and they hop onto the bed to wake us up and not be lazy. After a quick morning cuddle, the 4 of us go for a short walk and then head back home for breakfast. After eating, the boys generally play with each other and tire each other out and then jump in front of the heater to take another nap. They wake up in an hour or so to come to us while we’re working and give us a much needed break. We play chase with their toys or give them a nice belly rub. When we go back to working, they sit and chew on their toys or sit by the balcony watching and barking at birds. We go for 3-4 walks a day, whenever they whine to go out to pee. Dreidel was incredibly shy his first day but really started to open up by day 2. He is very sharp and alert; he pays attention to everything very intently and seems to understand us well. He is very calm and composed, and has a mature demeanor. He definitely loves cuddling a lot and loves licking your face. He is super flexible and playful, and loves to jump around in a cute goofy way. He loves his buddy Eggnog and is generally the calm to Eggnog's puppy energy. He is definitely a cutie pie! He is a very gentle spirit, and just observing him will lighten your mood- he's silly and adorable. Dreidel is good on leash, but likes to take his time with his walks. He has only had a couple accidents since coming to our home. Dreidel is an option for a home with prior dog experience who will give him the space and time to open up at his own pace. He's an option for kids over the age of 6.
