Doggie Protective Services

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization based in So. CA who has established chapters outside of the area to attempt to place more of the dogs that are dying in the shelters in So. CA. Many areas do not have small breed dogs and we transport and meet with potential adopters because So. CA is deluged in small breed dogs.

Meet Element: Earth

Adoption Fee: $1000 The Elements are a litter of 8 week old purebred Pugs who can’t wait to experience the seasons with their forever homes! This litter and their Mama, Mother Nature, were living in an unsafe environment and were surrendered to our rescue when the puppies were only a month old. They have grown big and strong in their foster home, and now that they are “all grown up” they are ready to find their forever homes! This litter is all boys. We will be looking for homes ready for a lifetime of love with these cuties!    Earth: Earth has dreams of flight, but don’t tell his brothers! This dude is a total ham and occupies himself for hours hopping around his pen and the yard chasing toys, leaves, and his brothers. Earth absolutely melts into your arms when you cuddle him and truly makes everyone he meets fall instantly in love with him. Earth makes adorable snuffle noises when he wants affection, treats, or another toy. Earth can’t wait to explore the world with you!  Fire: Fire is an energetic, feisty little man who is ready for his new home just in time for Aries season! Fire loves his toys and is often found dragging a toy multiple times his size around the pen as he plays keep-a-way from his brothers. Fire is the smartest puppy of the bunch and is quick to pick up on things, especially when there are yummy treats nearby! This firecracker promises to bring excitement and adventure to his new people! Wind: Wind, true to his name, is a playful little puppy who loves getting his zoomies on! Wind has an adorable hop/skip playtime routine, sometimes tripping over his own feet as he happily zooms after a toy. Wind loves to cuddle when he needs a break, pushing his little nose into the hand of whoever is lucky enough to pet him if they dare to move before he is done. Wind adores his brothers and flops down on top of them when he is ready for cuddles. Wind promises if you will be a wind-er if you bring him home!    The puppies start their morning with a puppy pile in their pen before they have breakfast. They get some playtime in the yard as their pen is cleaned before they come back inside. The puppies enjoy their cycle of eat-sleep-play and repeat throughout the day, getting affection frequently. They eat three times a day: 7 AM, 1 PM, and 6 PM. They hang out with their Mama who loves to give them cuddles and licks before they scamper back off to play. In the evening, they get snuggles and love as we unwind from the day. They head off to their pen for the night around 9 PM to sleep before starting the fun all over again!  The puppies have been well socialized with dogs of various sizes. They adore people, especially when they can climb into a warm nap and snooze a few hours away. They are very goofy and clever, the perfect Pug personalities for those who love and know the breed. They have amazing selfie faces and are ready to shower the world with love!   The Element puppies are only an option for homes who have owned a dog in the last 5 years. Interested homes should be prepared to discuss their knowledge of the breed. Kids in the home should be over the age of 8, due to the small size of the puppies.

Adoption Process
We require an application from anyone who is interested in adopting. Then we require a phone interview, followed by a meeting in person. Then if the animal is a match, we have a contract and our adoption fee which is $400.
