Meet Wonka: Oompa Loompa
This dog will be at a meet and greet event on Saturday, February 24th unless he/she is adopted prior to the event with a set up home. The event is from 12 pm to 3 pm at Palo Alto's Pet Food Express. Those interested in meeting the dog can come out to our meet and greet event. We no longer do application approval onsite. Anyone adopting has been previously approved and set up to meet prior to the event. Adoption Fee: $800 The Wonka puppies are a litter of 8 week old Purebred Lab puppies who were born in our rescue to Mama Violet! This trio of boys are as cute as can be and as sweet as chocolate. They have grown big and strong in their incredible foster home and are now ready to find their golden ticket forever homes! These puppies will be between 65-70 pounds when fully grown, so prepare for a lifetime of adventure! These boys are everything fabulous about the Lab breed. They are happy, playful, goofy, and sneaky little troublemakers. Toys and treats? They’re all about it. Trying new things? They’re ready! Zooming around until they crash for a nap? Sign them up! These boys eat three times a day as they continue growing and end their days curled up together in their pen. Augustus Gloop: Augustus Gloop is Mr. Personality and is absolutely fearless in his exploration of the world. He has endless optimism and believes he can do anything he sets his mind to. His tail never stops wagging and his goofy grin brightens even the rainiest days. Nothing keeps this happy boy down for long, even trying for the 50th time to unsuccessfully jump out of the puppy pen. He adores affection and makes his presence known whenever he enters the room. He is the most social of the bunch and would love to have a canine companion in his forever home. Charlie Bucket: Charlie Bucket is the baby of the litter and is the quintessential Lab puppy. He is the perfect blend of playful and cuddly, and will eat just about anything. Charlie loves belly rubs and will happily snooze on his back in a warm lap for an entire afternoon. He is very lovey and his chunky body waddles around the house as he investigates the world. Charlie is very people and food motivated, sprinting to his people when he is called in the hopes of getting some chicken. Charlie loves puzzle toys and furrows his brow adorably as he works to get the yummy treats out so he can enjoy his prize. He is the best model and would snap up all the sponsors the world has to offer! Oompa Loompa: Oompa Loompa may be small but he is mighty! The youngest of his brothers, Oompa loves to lead the charge in adventures and mischief, getting his brothers into adorable trouble. Oompa loves to play with his toys, and as much as he adores his brothers, he is also independent and content to hang out by himself gnawing on a bone. Oompa loves to pounce on the toy bin, covering himself in layers of toys. As much as Oompa loves cuddling in a lap, he is so excited about everything in the world that he squirms away only to come right back for more. He is the quietest of the puppies and is very observant. He loves crinkle toys and will paw at them until they make the noises he loves. Oompa was the first to figure out just about every milestone and is a smart little cookie. The Wonka puppies have been introduced to dogs of all ages and sizes. They get along fabulously with people and love their treat dispensing capabilities. These boys will be a handful for their lucky forever home but their cuteness will be the perfect reward! The Wonka puppies are only an option for those who have owned a dog of their own in the past 5 years. Kids in the home should be over the age of 7.
