Meet Sega
This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, February 22nd from 12-3pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered. Adoption Fee: $1000 Ready, set, SEGA! Meet Sega, the petite French Bulldog who’s ready to press "Start" on her new adventure! At just 17 pounds and 3 years old, this little console-sized cutie is as classic as her namesake and packed with character. Just like the vintage Sega games, she’s got a mix of fast-paced zoomies and cozy couch moments—think Sonic the Hedgehog meets Columns on a lazy Sunday. When Sega first joined her foster home, she was more Altered Beast than Golden Axe—anxious and unsure—but she’s powered up beautifully. She now follows her foster like a loyal sidekick, gives sweet kisses, and has become an ear-rub enthusiast. Sega’s favorite morning level starts around 7 am with a happy snort-filled breakfast, followed by a speed run around the lawn. Her turbo zoomies are something to behold! After dinner at 5 pm, she’ll race outside before settling in for her favorite level: blanket snuggles on the couch. French Bulldogs like Sega are known for their adorable snorts (which she provides in abundance—she’s like her own 8-bit sound machine) and affectionate nature. Sega thrives with someone who understands the breed’s unique needs—like being mindful of heat and appreciating their low-maintenance-but-lovable personalities. She’ll need someone patient to continue her leash training and support her potty-training progress. Sega gets along well with other dogs—she loves the resident medium-sized dog, even if her foster sibling doesn’t always reciprocate the play requests. She’s protective of her home and will bark at new visitors but quickly warms up once she knows they’re friendly. Sega’s ideal home includes a yard for her epic racing tournaments and a human who’s around during the day. Bonus points if you’re agile—she likes to wind around your legs like a living game of Frogger! If you’re looking for a little nostalgia with a lot of love, Sega is your player one. Get ready to insert love, press play, and start your next great adventure together!
